Use this Escape Checklist while playing Escape Verity™ on Roblox by Mind Blowing Productions. It keeps your group honest about what you have already found so you stop re-searching cleared rooms while Verity listens from the next junction.

Pair the checklist with How to Find Keys, How to Escape, and Exit Routes. Reset between runs or after switching chapters.

How to run the checklist in a group

1. Assign one caller who updates ticks — not all twelve players.
2. When a key is picked up, the scout announces color/label; caller marks Keys found.
3. When a progression door opens, mark Doors unlocked immediately.
4. After chapter milestones (first exit, entering Chapter 2 wing), mark Chapter goals.
5. If someone dies holding a key, uncheck only if the key was lost and must be re-found — confirm in-world first.

Why checklists beat memory

Public servers are loud. Players join mid-run. Voice chat drops. The checklist is a shared mental model even when only one person can see it on stream. It also prevents the classic wipe where three people insist they already opened a door that is still locked.

Chapter 1 vs Chapter 2 usage

Chapter 1 teaches Verity patrol language. Mark learning goals even if you die early — that feedback loop matters. Chapter 2 adds longer connectors; use door ticks to confirm you are not looping the same outer ring. Details: Chapter 2 Guide.

What not to track here

After a successful escape

Reset the checklist, note what almost failed, and skim How to Survive Verity if noise was the wipe cause. Share Halls Overview vocabulary with friends so next run callouts stay short.

Checklist timing during chases

Do not tick boxes mid-sprint. Update during natural pauses: after a door fully opens, after a key pickup callout settles, or when the group regroups at a spine junction. If Verity is one connector behind, the caller keeps hands on movement and voice only — the checklist can catch up ten seconds later. Missing a tick beats dying while fumbling a phone browser tab.

Stream and co-op layouts

Streamers can dock the checklist below the capture or on a second monitor; viewers appreciate visible progress without spoiler coordinates. Discord co-op groups often pin the checklist URL in a voice channel topic so late joiners know which doors are already marked. When someone joins mid-run, the caller reads unchecked sections aloud once — faster than re-searching cleared wings from Halls Overview vocabulary alone.

Recovery after browser refresh

If localStorage clears, reconstruct state from team memory before exploring new wings: list opened progression doors first, then missing keys. Cross-check with Keys guide priority order so you do not assume a side key was optional. Reset intentionally after every escape or wipe to avoid carrying stale ticks into the next server hop.

Caller scripts that work

Use short status lines every major unlock: Keys 2 of 4, main door open, basement still locked, hunter east spine. Avoid paragraph callouts. If your language community mixes English game terms with local speech, keep key and door labels in the in-game English strings so nobody translates a color wrong mid-chase.

When to put the checklist away

Once your fixed friend group clears both chapters without missed keys for several nights, you may not need the tool every run. Bring it back after patches noted in Updates Hub, when onboarding a new player, or when Chapter goals expand. Tools should shrink as skill grows — that is the point.
